Job Summary
Design, review, and coordinate fire protection and firefighting systems for industrial, commercial, and EPC projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Design fire protection and firefighting systems according to project requirements and applicable standards.
- Prepare fire protection layouts, drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
- Design fire hydrant, sprinkler, fire water, foam, fire alarm, and fire suppression systems.
- Perform hydraulic calculations for firefighting and sprinkler systems.
- Prepare equipment and material specifications, BOQs, and material take-offs.
- Review vendor drawings, technical documents, and engineering calculations.
- Coordinate with civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, piping, and other engineering disciplines.
- Ensure compliance with NFPA standards, local codes, and project specifications.
Qualifications and Experience
- B.E. or B.Tech in Mechanical, Civil, Fire and Safety, or a related engineering discipline.
- Three to eight years of experience in fire protection engineering and design.
- Experience in industrial, oil and gas, EPC, commercial, or infrastructure projects.
- Fire Protection or Fire and Safety certification is an added advantage.
Compensation
- Pay starts at ₹500,000 per year.
