Finishing Operator II

Micro Gauge, a CNC machining shop in Brighton, is seeking a High Volume CNC Machinist on all shifts

Third Shift: 11 pm to 7 am Sunday - Thursday

Second Shift: 3 pm to 11 pm Monday - Friday

· Meeting production and scrap goals

· Reporting hourly production, scrap and downtime on appropriate form

· Inspecting machined parts for surface defects and verifying conformance to specifications provided in job book instructions using measuring instruments

· Changing tools and making offsets to machines as needed

· Ability to read, comprehend and follow simple instructions

· Previous CNC experience required

·Experience with lathes and mills

-Knowledge of Opt 10 and Opt 20

· Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals

· Standing and repetitive bending and twisting
