Role Overview

  • HSBC International Wealth and Premier Banking aims to be the international bank of choice for affluent customers.
  • The role is client facing, managing highest value clients with professionalism and broad understanding of financial planning.

In This Role, You Will

  • Provide financial planning service to new and existing customers by identifying needs and proposing solutions through regulated products.
  • Achieve Sales Performance Standards & Key Performance Indicators in a compliant manner.
  • Support and work closely with PRMs in achievement of the plan, both country AOP and own KPIs.
  • Review portfolio regularly to ensure solutions are suitable and embed client loyalty.
  • Identify opportunities for wealth reviews and deliver wealth solutions as an advisor.
  • Assist Area Senior Managers / Premier Wealth Sales Managers in lead generation and coordinate branch sales planning.
  • Provide clients with outstanding service based on professional relationship management and global service standards.

Requirements

  • Hold qualifications as per SCA requirements (e.g. Introduction to Securities & Investments, UAE Financial Rules & Regulations, Risk in Financial Services & International Certificate in Wealth and Investment Management).
  • Minimum of three years proven and progressive financial services and/or retail sales experience or equivalent.
  • Evidence of strong sales results in insurance and investment products.
  • Relationship management experience with high net worth clients.
  • Strong technical skills in wealth management.
  • Strong sales orientation, networking and portfolio management skills.
  • Sound knowledge of financial services products and services and the client relationship management system.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Highly business and target focused.
  • Excellent technical skills in investment areas.
  • Ability to build strong relationships.
  • Local regulatory & license requirements valid licenses with accreditation on wealth management.
