Overview
- An international consultancy company is seeking a Financial Management Expert for its building/infrastructure project located in East Africa, Rwanda.
- Candidates are not required to be on site and may work remotely from their respective countries on a part time basis.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Professional certification such as CPA, ACCA, CIMA, or an equivalent qualification is mandatory.
- Additional training in Public Financial Management, Project Finance, Infrastructure Finance, or Water and Sanitation Sector Financing will be an added advantage.
Experience
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant professional experience in financial management for large scale infrastructure projects, including water supply, sanitation, building construction, transport, or related sectors.
- Proven experience in public sector financial management, including budgeting, financial planning, expenditure control, and financial reporting.
- Demonstrated experience in donor funded projects and familiarity with international financial management, accounting, auditing, and reporting standards.
- Strong expertise in financial analysis, cost control, financial modelling, and financial risk management for complex projects.
- Experience in preparing and reviewing financial statements, audits, compliance reports, and ensuring adherence to national and international standards.
- Experience in financial management of water supply and sanitation projects will be considered a strong advantage.
