Position Overview

  • We are looking for an experienced Financial Institution Business Development Manager (FIBD) to expand and manage global payment institution partnerships.
  • This role focuses on developing relationships with PSPs, Payment Aggregators, Banks, Financial Institutions, Local Acquiring Partners, OTC and Payment Service Providers.
  • The ideal candidate should have strong experience in the local payment industry and understand how payment partnerships, settlement structures, onboarding, and high risk payment operations work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and expand partnerships with PSPs, banks, financial institutions, and payment providers globally
  • Identify new local payment resources and market opportunities
  • Negotiate commercial terms, settlement structures, and cooperation agreements
  • Coordinate onboarding processes, including KYC/KYB, compliance review, and operational setup
  • Work closely with internal compliance, risk, operations, and technical teams during integration
  • Maintain long term relationships with payment institutions and strategic partners
  • Monitor payment industry trends, regulatory developments, and competitor activities
  • Represent TeemoPay at international fintech, payments, Forex, and iGaming exhibitions and conferences
  • Conduct business meetings, networking, and partnership discussions with industry partners
  • Support the expansion of TeemoPay’s global local payment network

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in local payment, PSP, Payment Aggregation, Acquiring, or High risk payment industry
  • Strong experience working with financial institutions or payment partnerships
  • Good understanding of local payment infrastructure, settlement flows, and payment operations
  • Experience in Forex, CFD, iGaming, gambling, or other high risk industries is highly preferred
  • Existing payment industry network is a strong advantage
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to independently manage partnership discussions and onboarding processes
  • Comfortable with international business travel and attending industry exhibitions
  • Fluent English required
  • Chinese or additional languages are a plus

Preferred Background

  • Candidates from Local PSPs, Payment Aggregators, High risk payment companies, Forex payment providers, iGaming payment companies, OTC / Crypto payment providers, Banking or acquiring partnership teams are highly preferred.
