Role overview
Footasylum is seeking a Financial Controller to lead the Reporting and Transactional Finance teams.
The role reports to the Finance Director and partners with FP&A, Business Partnering, Procurement, and the wider business.
Key areas include reporting, financial control, compliance, capital expenditure, and risk management.
Reporting and finance operations
- Oversee management reporting, management accounts, and month-end activities.
- Lead statutory reporting and audit activities.
- Manage stakeholder reporting for investors, banks, and other stakeholders.
- Oversee cash and banking, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and transactional finance teams.
- Manage supplier and customer relationship activities within transactional finance.
Tax, risk, and controls
- Manage UK and overseas VAT returns and liaise with tax advisors.
- Manage corporation tax matters, including capital allowances, transfer pricing, and R&D.
- Lead group insurance policies and risk management activity.
- Manage foreign exchange risk through hedging activities.
- Support cashflow forecasting and liquidity management.
