About the Role
The employer is seeking an experienced Financial Controller to lead the Finance function of hospitality operations in Dubai.
The role reports directly to the General Manager and Group CFO.
The position is full-time and based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee accounting, budgeting, forecasting, treasury management, and the full financial operations of the company.
- Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS.
- Lead annual budgeting and financial planning with department heads.
- Monitor cash flow, manage working capital, and oversee banking and financing arrangements.
- Ensure compliance with UAE VAT, corporate tax, and statutory obligations.
- Coordinate external audits and serve as the primary contact for auditors.
- Maintain internal controls, financial policies, and procedures.
- Provide strategic financial insights to support growth and profitability.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the Finance team.
- Liaise with investors, banks, legal advisors, and regulatory authorities.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting.
