Role overview
Holiday Inn Riyadh is seeking a Financial Accountant to join its Finance team.
The role supports accurate financial reporting, accounting records, and hotel financial operations in line with IHG standards and local regulations.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and post journal entries and General Ledger transactions.
- Perform bank, balance sheet, and account reconciliations.
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Prepare financial reports and assist with budgeting and forecasting.
- Maintain fixed asset records and depreciation schedules.
- Ensure compliance with IHG financial policies and local statutory requirements.
- Support internal and external audit processes.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Maintain accounting documentation and internal controls.
- Perform other finance-related duties assigned by the Director of Finance and Business Support.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 2–4 years of accounting experience, preferably in the hospitality industry.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting and General Ledger accounting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems.
