Financial Accountant (KSA National)

Role Overview

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts for review by the Financial Controller.
• Process monthly intercompany billing and control regular payments to the group.
• Prepare the regional annual budget and perform actual-versus-budget variance analysis.
• Prepare monthly cash flow forecasts and working capital information.
• Prepare invoices, coordinate timely submission with project managers, and post invoices in Deltek.
• Follow up with clients after invoicing and on payment due dates.
• Prepare and share Statements of Account when requested.
• Load, check, and post accounts payable invoices.
• Prepare credit card reports and chase supporting receipts.
• Maintain the cashbook, perform bank reconciliations, and support payment run preparation.
• Review, approve, and post employee expenses and credit card transactions.
• Support payroll processing, supplier payments, audits, year-end reporting, and local content compliance.

Requirements

• Fully qualified Chartered Accountant through ICAEW, ACCA, CIMA, or an equivalent qualification.
• At least 3 years of relevant accounting experience, ideally in private practice or an international business.
• Knowledge of KSA tax regulations, including ZATCA, GOSI, and local government requirements.
• Strong Excel, reporting, numeracy, and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and time management skills.
• Ability to manage competing deadlines and collaborate across departments and geographies.
• Experience with professional partnerships or engineering or consulting firms is advantageous.
