Role Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Finance Accountant with a strong background in the retail industry to join our expanding team.

The ideal candidate will have 5–12 years of experience and solid expertise in both accounting fundamentals and advanced financial management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage accounts payable & receivable
  • Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
  • Perform bank reconciliations and cash flow monitoring
  • Monitor retail sales transactions and revenue recognition
  • Oversee inventory accounting and stock valuation across branches
  • Ensure compliance with UAE VAT and financial regulations
  • Support internal and external audits
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
  • Conduct cost analysis and margin control for retail operations
  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 5–12 years of experience, with mandatory experience in the retail industry
  • Strong knowledge of:
  • Accounting standards (IFRS preferred)
  • Retail accounting & revenue recognition
  • Inventory management and costing
  • UAE VAT regulations and compliance
  • Experience in multi-branch retail operations is a strong advantage
  • Good knowledge of ERP systems
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to manage financial operations across multiple locations
