Role Overview
The Finance Supervisor supervises a team working on financial process improvement projects, implementations, and training sessions.
The role belongs to the Financial Strategy and Operations function and supports accounting, financial, and reporting policies and controls.
Responsibilities
- Supervise projects, implementations, and training sessions while ensuring policy and regulatory compliance.
- Review subordinate work for accuracy, identify training needs, and provide technical guidance.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to improve productivity and staff satisfaction.
- Develop KPIs and monitor management and process optimization developments.
- Oversee data compilation, present findings to senior leadership, and review improvement projections.
- Investigate process issues and complaints, resolve complex problems, and support team objectives.
- Lead by example and guide the team in applying practices and procedures.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED with at least five years of job-related experience.
- Prior shift manager or supervisory experience is preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of processes, procedures, systems, and concepts in the job function is required.
- Ability to explain complex concepts or sensitive information.
- Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Excellent organizational skills, an inquisitive mindset, and exceptional math skills.
