Position Summary
The Finance Project Lead plans, coordinates, and executes financial projects and initiatives supporting organizational and departmental goals.
The role partners with Finance, Accounting, IT, and cross-functional teams on process improvements, system implementations, financial analysis, and strategic initiatives.
Projects must be delivered on time, within scope, documented, monitored, and aligned with financial governance and compliance standards.
Project Leadership and Analysis
- Lead finance-related projects from scoping and planning through budgeting, scheduling, execution, and closeout.
- Develop project plans, timelines, resource requirements, status updates, and executive summaries.
- Analyze financial data for business cases, ROI evaluations, scenario modeling, reports, dashboards, and insights.
- Create process maps, documentation, and standard operating procedures.
Process, Technology, and Collaboration
- Identify financial process inefficiencies and lead current-state and future-state workflow workshops.
- Support ERP, dashboard, and BI system upgrades and implementations.
