Role Overview
The Centre de santé communautaire Hamilton/Niagara is hiring a bilingual bookkeeper to support daily financial operations.
The role works within the finance and administrative team in a community-based health-care environment.
The position is permanent, 35 hours per week, and based in Welland.
Compensation and Benefits
- Annual salary is $45,282 to $55,055.
- Benefits include the HOOPP pension plan.
Key Responsibilities
- Record financial transactions accurately in the accounting system.
- Reconcile bank and credit card accounts and investigate discrepancies.
- Assist with monthly financial reports and account summaries.
- Maintain complete financial records and supporting documentation.
- Assist with payroll, accounts payable, and remittances.
- Prepare invoices and process deposits and payments.
- Monitor outstanding invoices and support follow-up.
- Assist with year-end procedures, audits, and audit documentation.
- Handle financial records and personal information according to privacy requirements.
- Provide administrative support to the finance team.
