Role Overview

  • The Finance Officer will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the firm in compliance with FSRA regulatory requirements.
  • This includes financial reporting, budgeting, capital adequacy, liquidity management, and supporting compliance with FSRA prudential rules applicable to activities such as Private Financing Platform (PFP) operations, Arranging Deals, and Fund Management.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Minimum 8+ years of experience in finance/accounting within regulated financial services
  • In depth knowledge of FSRA rules, especially GEN, PRU, and COBS
  • Familiarity with PFP operations, fund structures, and investment advisory models
  • Professional qualification: ACCA, CPA, CA, or equivalent (preferred)

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate and timely financial records in accordance with IFRS and ADGM requirements.
  • Prepare and submit all FSRA mandated reports, including PRU returns, Annual Audited Financial Statements, and Capital Adequacy and Liquidity reports.
  • Coordinate with external auditors to ensure timely completion of statutory audits and regulatory filings.
  • Monitor and ensure ongoing compliance with FSRA's Prudential Rules (PRU), including Base Capital Requirement (BCR), Expenditure Based Capital Minimum (EBCM), and Risk Capital Requirement (RCR).
  • Maintain real time tracking of the firm's liquid assets, capital buffer, and operational expenses.
  • Maintain clear separation of client assets and firm assets in line with Client Asset Rules.
  • Oversee financial flows related to PFP transactions, including issuer payments, investor settlements, and transaction fees.
  • Prepare the firm's annual budget and perform regular variance analysis.
  • Develop short and long term financial forecasts based on the strategic plan.
  • Track cost efficiency and contribute to financial decision making on new product launches or business lines.
  • Establish and maintain internal controls for financial integrity and fraud prevention.
  • Ensure full compliance with ADGM commercial regulations, VAT, and corporate tax obligations.
