Role Overview
The Finance Manager will lead the finance function end-to-end across retail, F&B, and consignment accounting.
The role combines strategic financial planning for ownership with hands-on oversight of daily finance operations.
The position sits above the Accounts Manager and Accountant.
Strategic Leadership and Governance
- Advise ownership on enterprise risk, capital allocation, valuations, joint ventures, and banking facilities.
- Serve as the primary contact for external auditors, banks, and commercial landlords.
- Lead, mentor, and approve the work of the Accounts Manager and Accountant.
- Own workload allocation, capability building, and escalation paths across the finance function.
Commercial and Project Finance
- Own product and menu costing, ingredient and packaging cost structures, and pricing strategies across F&B and retail brands.
- Conduct market benchmarking to maximise margins.
- Model financial risk and return, breakeven points, and go/no-go decisions for new activations, launches, pop-ups, and partnerships.
