The Role:
This is a rare and exciting opportunity to build something from the ground up. As Finance Manager in Articore’s India entity, you'll lead all day-to-day financial operations — covering financial reporting, internal controls, payroll oversight, and compliance with Indian statutory requirements.
As the first dedicated finance hire in India, you won't be stepping into an established function — you'll be creating it. That means designing processes, implementing controls, and growing a team as the business scales. You'll serve as the primary point of contact between the India entity and the Group Finance function in Australia, ensuring timely, accurate reporting and strong alignment with group-wide standards. Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Close & Reporting: Manage the full financial close cycle (month-end, quarter-end, year-end), ensuring financial statements are accurate, timely, and compliant with Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS) and applicable IFRS.
- Statutory Compliance: Own all Indian statutory obligations — including GST, TDS, income tax, Provident Fund (PF), and Employee State Insurance (ESI) — ensuring the business remains fully compliant at all times.
