Role Description

The Finance Manager will be responsible for overseeing the finance department, preparing budget forecasts, feasibility studies, managing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with regulations.

Other tasks include analyzing market trends, financial performance, and developing strategies to improve financial health.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop financial forecasts and budgets based on strategic goals and historical data.
  • Perform feasibility studies, analyze financial performance, trends, and variances to provide insights and recommendations to the management.
  • Provide strategic financial advice and support to the management in decision-making processes.
  • Identify financial risks and develop risk mitigation strategies.
  • Evaluate investment opportunities and capital allocation strategies.
  • Prepare timely and accurate financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Implement internal controls and procedures to safeguard assets and ensure the accuracy of financial data.
  • Oversee and manage all tax activities, including compliance with UAE tax regulations.
  • Build and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including banks, auditors, and regulatory authorities.

Minimum Skills And Qualifications

  • A Master/Bachelor's degree in Finance or a relevant discipline
  • A minimum of 6-8 years of experience in a financial role with a successful track record of exhibiting strategic decision making and leadership skills.
  • Experience in the UAE market and knowledge of local financial regulations.
  • Proficiency in financial reporting, compliance, and analysis
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Proficiency in financial software and tools, including advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
