Key Responsibilities
- Oversee overall financial operations including accounting, reporting, and treasury functions.
- Prepare and manage annual budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
- Monitor financial performance and provide strategic insights to senior management.
- Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements in compliance with applicable standards.
- Manage cash flow, working capital, and banking relationships.
- Implement and maintain strong internal controls and financial policies.
- Coordinate with auditors for internal and external audits Ensure compliance with local regulations, and corporate policies.
- Analyze financial data and identify opportunities for cost optimization and efficiency improvements.
- Support project costing, financial feasibility analysis, and contract evaluations.
- Collaborate with procurement, operations, and project teams for financial alignment.
- Develop and lead the finance team, enhancing capabilities and performance
Education
- Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
Experience
- Minimum 12 years of experience in finance and accounting, including a minimum of 5 years in a managerial position.Minimum 3 years GCC experience is mandatory
- Prior experience in Construction / Manufacturing / Oil & Gas industry is required Strong background in financial planning, analysis, and reporting
Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards.
- Expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling.
- Experience with ERP systems.
- Proficiency in financial analysis and performance management.
- Knowledge of compliance, and audit processes.
