Overview
We are looking for an experienced Internal Auditor / Internal Control Officer to monitor and control company operations, purchasing, inventory, and financial processes. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring proper internal controls, preventing unnecessary purchases, verifying invoices, checking stock availability, and improving operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities Purchasing & Inventory Control **Verify stock availability before approving new purchases** Prevent excess or duplicate purchasing **Compare market prices and supplier quotations** Monitor purchasing procedures and approvals **Conduct regular inventory audits and stock verification Invoice & Financial Verification** Check supplier invoices, quotations, and payment documents **Verify pricing accuracy and approval processes** Identify unusual expenses or cost variations **Ensure proper documentation and record keeping Operational Audit** Monitor daily operational activities and compliance **Review workflow efficiency and internal procedures** Identify operational risks and suggest improvements **Ensure company policies and procedures are followed Reporting & Compliance** Prepare audit reports and findings for management **Submit recommendations for cost control and process improvement** Support management in implementing internal controls **Conduct periodic audits across departments Requirements** Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field **Experience in Internal Audit, Inventory Control, or Operations Audit** Knowledge of purchasing and inventory management **Strong analytical and reporting skills** Good knowledge of ERP systems and Microsoft Excel **Attention to detail and problem-solving ability** Experience in Trading / Marine / Logistics companies is an advantage **UAE Valid Driving License is mandatory** Candidate should be willing to travel between company locations, warehouses, suppliers, and operational sites when required Preferred Skills **Strong communication and coordination skills** Ability to work independently **Cost control and process improvement mindset** Knowledge of UAE business operations and documentation Salary Salary will be discussed based on experience and qualifications. Location UAE Additional Requirement **UAE Valid Driving License is mandatory** Candidate should be willing to travel between company locations, warehouses, suppliers, and operational sites when required.
