About the Role

Responsibilities
- Lead the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Ensure compliance with IFRS standards and UAE financial regulations
- Manage general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and treasury functions
- Develop and maintain effective internal controls and financial policies
- Oversee project accounting activities across multiple ongoing projects
- Monitor project budgets, cost allocation, profitability, and margin performance
- Manage Work in Progress (WIP) accounting and project revenue recognition
- Review progress billings, retention accounting, variation orders, and subcontractor payments
- Lead annual budgeting and periodic forecasting processes
- Monitor company cash flow and liquidity requirements
- Ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations and statutory requirements
- Lead, mentor, and develop the finance and accounting team
Requirements
- Chartered Accountant (CA), ACCA, CPA, CMA, or Master's Degree in Finance/Accounting
- 15–20 years of progressive finance and accounting experience
- Minimum 5 years in a Finance Manager, Finance Controller, or equivalent leadership role
- Mandatory experience in contracting, construction, façade, aluminum, glazing, or engineering industries
- Strong expertise in Project Accounting, Job Costing, WIP Accounting, Revenue Recognition, Progress Billing, Variation Orders, Retention Accounting, Project Cash Flow Management
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and UAE VAT regulations
- Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Tally, or equivalent
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling

Position Overview
- The Finance Manager will oversee the company's financial operations, ensuring strong financial governance, project profitability, cash flow optimization, and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Financial Management & Reporting: Lead preparation of financial statements, ensure IFRS compliance, manage GL/AP/AR/payroll/treasury, develop internal controls.
- Project Accounting & Cost Control: Oversee project accounting, monitor budgets and profitability, manage WIP and revenue recognition, review billings and variation orders.
- Budgeting & Strategic Planning: Lead budgeting and forecasting, prepare financial models, analyze performance, support strategic decisions.
- Cash Flow & Working Capital Management: Monitor cash flow, manage receivables/payables, coordinate collection cycles, prepare cash flow forecasts.
- Compliance & Audit: Ensure VAT compliance, coordinate with auditors and regulators, prepare audit schedules.
- Leadership & Team Development: Lead and mentor finance team, establish KPIs, promote continuous improvement.
Qualifications & Experience
