Job Summary
Finance Manager role focused on leading and managing financial operations in a contracting and construction environment.
The role requires hands-on experience in project accounting, cost control, WIP, cash flow management, and Letters of Credit.
Location and Employment
- Work location is Al Quoz, Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
- Employment type is full-time.
- Work is performed in person.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Ensure compliance with IFRS and UAE financial regulations.
- Manage project accounting, job costing, and profitability analysis.
- Monitor WIP, revenue recognition, progress billing, variations, and retention.
- Handle Letters of Credit with banks and suppliers.
- Manage cash flow and optimize working capital.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
- Ensure UAE VAT and statutory compliance.
- Coordinate audits and supervise the finance team.
Requirements
- CA, ACCA, or a master’s degree in finance or accounting.
- 10–15 years of progressive finance experience.
- At least 5 years in a Finance Manager or Finance Controller role.
- Mandatory contracting or construction company experience.
- Knowledge of project accounting, job costing, and WIP.
- Experience with progress billing, variations, retention, and Letters of Credit.
- ERP experience with systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Tally.
- Strong analytical and leadership skills.
- Fluent in English.
Compensation
- Pay is AED 14,000–AED 16,000 per month.
