Finance Manager

Job purpose

Financial strategy and planning

• Develop financial strategy and set accounting and funding principles.
• Contribute to institution-wide growth strategy, executive planning, decision-making, sustainability, and organic growth.
• Develop short- and long-term finance plans, annual operating plans, and departmental KPIs.
• Sponsor business process improvements and large-scale change projects.
• Oversee budgets and make resource allocation recommendations.
• Develop a departmental resourcing plan.
• Contribute to Executive Committee initiatives involving course offerings, business planning, and budgeting.

Organisational development

• Manage team performance requirements to ensure key outcomes are achieved.
• Ensure team members understand and comply with Prime Group policies and procedures.
• Monitor and manage employee turnover and unplanned absences against agreed measures.
• Contribute to institution-wide resource planning and capability building.
• Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Financial governance and delivery

• Lead efforts to develop financial stability.
• Oversee change project delivery.
• Achieve financial sustainability, cost control, revenue improvement, and profit maximisation targets.
• Ensure compliance with local and national government, regulatory, and partnership requirements.
• Deploy third-party service providers as required.
• Perform other related duties during working hours.

Compensation

• The stated pay range is QAR 10,000 to QAR 15,000 per month.

Workplace

• Work is performed in person.

Requirements

• Ability to develop short- and long-term finance plans and annual operating plans with departmental KPIs.
• Ability to develop and maintain financial risk management policies and procedures.
• Experience managing team performance, compliance, turnover, and capability building.
• Ability to ensure compliance with local and national government, regulatory, and partnership requirements.
• Ability to manage internal and external stakeholder relationships.
