GymNation is seeking a motivated Finance Intern to join its Financial Reporting team.
The role provides hands-on experience with month-end close and management accounts.
The internship lasts three months and may be extended to six months.
Work Location
- The position is based on-site in Dubai, UAE.
- Work is performed in person.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the month-end close and audit process end to end.
- Help prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Reconcile accounts and investigate discrepancies.
- Assist with variance analysis of actuals against budget and forecast.
- Help explain movements identified through variance analysis.
- Build management reporting packs and leadership presentations.
- Maintain financial data in spreadsheets and the reporting system.
- Keep financial records accurately entered, filed, and documented.
- Follow internal controls and accounting policies and flag irregularities.
- Support ad hoc analysis and projects across the finance team.
Essential Requirements
- Currently studying or recently graduated in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Strong Excel skills, including formulas, lookups, and clean spreadsheet structure.
- Genuine attention to detail and an analytical approach.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Additional Qualifications
- A professional qualification such as ACCA, CA, CMA, or similar is a plus.
- Familiarity with IFRS is a plus.
