Role Overview
Halvion is seeking an experienced Finance Director to lead financial strategy, planning, reporting, governance, and overall financial performance.
This is a senior leadership role requiring commercial judgment, analytical expertise, financial controls, and team leadership.
Work Arrangement
- The role is fully remote in the United Arab Emirates.
Financial Leadership
- Lead the Finance function and financial strategy.
- Develop financial plans aligned with business objectives.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, management reporting, and financial statements.
- Develop models, forecasts, and scenario analyses for decision-making.
- Monitor cash flow, liquidity, working capital, and capital requirements.
- Establish financial controls and governance frameworks.
- Oversee accounting operations, statutory requirements, audits, tax planning, and compliance.
- Manage relationships with banks, auditors, tax advisors, investors, and other financial stakeholders.
- Analyze costs, margins, profitability, risks, and opportunities for optimization.
- Evaluate strategic investments, business initiatives, transactions, and financing opportunities.
- Partner with Commercial, Operations, Procurement, HR, and other departments.
- Lead and develop the Finance and Accounting team and present recommendations to executive management.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 8 years of progressive experience in finance, accounting, financial management, or a related discipline.
- Experience in a senior finance leadership or Finance Director position.
- Strong knowledge of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, financial controls, accounting, cash flow, and corporate finance.
- Experience managing finance teams and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Excel, financial modeling, ERP systems, and financial reporting tools.
- International operations and multi-entity experience is an advantage.
- ACCA, CPA, CA, CFA, or equivalent qualifications are welcome but not mandatory.
