The Finance Associate owns finance activities for India entities related to outsourced EST Operations.
The role covers payroll, provisions, financial closing, compliance, audits, analytics and KPI or SLA achievement.
The position has end-to-end ownership of assigned finance processes and controls.
Roles and responsibilities
- Process payroll accurately and complete monthly, quarterly and annual book closures.
- Review employee balances, payments, expenses, advances, corporate-card transactions and related accounts.
- Prepare and review monthly MIS and schedules and coordinate actions with cross-functional teams.
- Monitor outsourced-partner activities for accuracy, timeliness, SLA improvements and employee-query resolution.
- Engage auditors, resolve queries and support audit closure.
- Maintain RCM and SOX compliance and ensure alignment with labor and tax laws.
- Monitor amendments to applicable labor and tax laws.
Educational qualification
- CA, CMA or equivalent qualification is mandatory.
- A postgraduate qualification in Finance or Business Administration is an added advantage.
- The role requires 3 to 5 years of relevant experience.
Skills and critical exposures
- Financial accounting with relevant SAP knowledge.
- Big data analytics and identification of automation opportunities.
- Internal controls, SOP preparation, SOX documentation and periodic governance.
- Payroll taxes, regulatory compliance and basic accounting principles.
- Partner relationship management, data analysis and digital literacy.
- Lean methodologies are listed among the relevant skills and exposures.
- Customer-centric mindset, continuous improvement, collaboration, accountability, analytical thinking and process discipline.

The Finance function operates as a strategic partner supporting management decision-making and business units.
The function includes global business partnering teams and corporate centers of excellence such as treasury, risk and assurance, taxation, analytics, investor relations and shared services.
