Role Description
This full-time remote role supports day-to-day financial operations and accurate, timely transaction processing.
The Finance Assistant / Accounts Assistant works on accounting records, transaction processing, receivables, reporting, queries, and compliance support.
Responsibilities
- Maintain accounting records and process invoices and expenses.
- Reconcile bank statements and petty cash.
- Assist with month-end closing activities.
- Monitor accounts receivable and support credit control processes.
- Follow up on outstanding payments.
- Prepare basic financial reports and summaries for management.
- Respond to finance-related queries and collaborate to resolve discrepancies.
- Help maintain compliance with internal policies and relevant financial standards.
Qualifications
- Strong accounting and finance skills, including bookkeeping, invoicing, reconciliations, and basic financial reporting.
- Experience with credit control, accounts receivable management, and outstanding payment follow-up.
- Ability to manage petty cash, expense claims, and small transactions accurately.
- Effective communication skills for internal and external collaboration and financial query resolution.
