Role Description
Support day-to-day financial operations and ensure accurate, timely processing of transactions.
Work in a distributed, remote environment while collaborating with internal teams.
Responsibilities
- Maintain accounting records and process invoices.
- Manage petty cash and assist with reconciliations and month-end close activities.
- Monitor accounts receivable and support credit control activities.
- Follow up on outstanding payments professionally.
- Gather financial information, respond to queries, and help prepare basic financial reports and summaries.
Qualifications
- Possess finance and accounting skills to support daily transaction processing and basic financial reporting.
- Possess credit control skills to monitor receivables, manage overdue accounts, and follow up on outstanding payments.
- Possess petty cash management skills, including expenditure tracking, balance reconciliation, and accurate recordkeeping.
- Have strong communication, numerical, and analytical abilities.
- Have good proficiency in spreadsheets and accounting software.
- Demonstrate attention to detail, integrity, and adherence to financial procedures.
- Work independently in a remote setting, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines.
- A relevant finance, accounting, or related qualification is beneficial.
