Role Description
Support daily accounting transactions, financial recordkeeping, and corporate finance operations in an entry-level role.
Work with Senior Accountants, Accounts Payable and Receivable Executives, and Department Leads.
Handle supplier invoice entries, sales billings, bank reconciliations, and financial document filing.
Core Responsibilities
- Enter supplier invoices and prepare sales billings.
- Perform daily bank reconciliations and monitor petty cash transactions.
- Audit employee expense claims and petty cash disbursements against internal policies.
- Assist with month-end ledger adjustments and update fixed asset tracking schedules.
- Maintain financial document archives and retrieve documentation for audit reviews.
- Correspond with vendors regarding payment status and follow up on pending receipts.
Education and Accounting Foundations
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Foundational coursework or progress toward AAT, LCCI, or ACCA foundation credentials is an advantage.
- Practical understanding of accounting principles, double-entry bookkeeping, general ledgers, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and journal entries.
