Field Technician (Cathodic Protection)

• Education and/or Experience: High School Diploma or Trade Certificate. Technical degree or diploma combination of education and experience. Previous experience is considered an asset but is not required. 0-2 years of experience. Class 5 driver’s license.
• Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures.
• Mathematical Skills : Ability to perform arithmetic calculations and apply basic mathematical concepts.
• Reasoning Skills: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of situations.
• Other Skills: Hands-on and mechanically inclined

• Physical Demands : In the performance of duties for this position, there is frequent standing and walking required throughout the day. Occasional climbing required. Frequent stooping, bending, kneeling, pushing, pulling, reaching, and twisting required. Frequent driving is required. May be required to lift between 50 to 75 pounds. Occasional computer-related activities, such as typing and viewing a computer monitor are required.
• Work Environment: In performing the duties for this job, the employee will generally work outside in weather conditions near job sites with moving vehicles and mechanical operations. Will be occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles. The noise level is usually moderate. Travel by automobile and airplane required.
