Role overview
Perform finite element analysis activities using MSC NASTRAN and OptiStruct.
Support new product development and FEA knowledge development at the Global Engineering Center India Airpower.
Apply engineering analysis to compressor, pump, and related product components.
Responsibilities
- Perform advanced FEA analyses for a wide range of applications and products.
- Select efficient and accurate analysis strategies, including hand calculations or complex simulations.
- Analyze frames, rotors, housings, and other components using static, nonlinear, and dynamic methods.
- Improve calculation models, tools, and worldwide CAE processes.
- Provide CAE support during product development and product enhancement.
- Interact with overseas customers and support CAE competence development.
- Follow best practices and comply with ISO procedures.
Experience requirements
- 2–4 years of FEA experience are required.
- Experience with compressors or pumps is an added advantage.
- An M.Tech or M.E. qualification is required.
