Design Engineer - Solid Edge

Role Overview

Design Responsibilities

• Prepare 3D pump models in Solid Edge from part lists and present them as 2D drawings in the required template.
• Prepare tank and structural fabrication drawings from 3D models in Solid Edge.
• Prepare pipe spool drawings in Solid Edge.
• Review 3D models and fabrication drawings prepared by sub-vendors and team members.
• Coordinate with draftspersons, design engineers, designers, and sub-vendors.
• Review client standard drawings and incorporate the design into packages.
• Prepare bills of materials.
• Review package designs for accessibility and operability.
• Assist the production engineer in resolving fabrication and assembly issues.
• Prepare and update pump part drawings, including GD&T, for design optimization.
• Prepare pipeline networks in Rohr2 from customer isometrics for pulsation studies.

Qualifications and Experience

• 1–2 years of experience working as a Design Engineer using Solid Edge.
• A degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
• Ability to read and understand pump part lists, package P&IDs, and client standard drawings.
