Role Overview
The boutique is seeking a Fashion Designer for its high-end women’s apparel business.
The designer will develop distinctive luxury collections for a sophisticated clientele.
The role covers design execution from concept development through the final garment.
Compensation
- The salary is AED 12,000–14,000 per month, depending on experience, skills, and portfolio.
Candidate Profile
- NIFT graduation or an equivalent Fashion Design qualification is required.
- Three to four years of relevant women’s apparel or fashion design experience is required.
- Premium, luxury, couture, or high-end boutique fashion experience is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of fabrics, garment construction, silhouettes, draping, and finishing is required.
- Excellent creative and visual skills with a strong fashion sensibility are required.
- The candidate must translate concepts into commercially viable luxury designs.
- Strong attention to detail and premium craftsmanship understanding are required.
- A portfolio showcasing relevant women’s fashion collections is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop original designs and seasonal collections for women’s luxury apparel.
- Create mood boards, fashion illustrations, design concepts, and technical details.
- Research international trends, fabrics, colors, silhouettes, and embellishment techniques.
- Select premium fabrics, trims, and materials for high-end garments.
- Coordinate with pattern makers, tailors, sample teams, and suppliers.
- Conduct fittings and make adjustments to ensure excellent fit and finish.
- Maintain quality, detailing, and craftsmanship throughout the design process.
- Coordinate with production from concept development through the final garment.
- Stay updated with global luxury fashion trends and emerging design directions.
