Role Description
The Facility Operations Manager is a part-time remote role responsible for the operational performance and maintenance of AHDA’s facilities.
The role covers facility planning, maintenance coordination, compliance, contractor supervision, reporting, documentation, budgeting support, and stakeholder coordination.
Core Responsibilities
- Plan and monitor facility operations and performance.
- Coordinate preventive maintenance activities.
- Ensure compliance with relevant standards and safety guidelines.
- Supervise service providers, contractors, and facility-related teams.
- Review performance reports and recommend improvements to facility efficiency and reliability.
- Prepare facility-related documentation.
- Support budgeting and resource planning.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders on operational needs and issues.
Qualifications
- Strong supervisory skills to oversee contractors, service providers, and facility-related teams.
- Practical experience in facilities operations and facility management.
- Operations management skills for planning, coordinating, and improving facility processes and workflows.
- Knowledge of preventive maintenance practices.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting with strong organizational, communication, and reporting skills.
- Relevant bachelor’s degree in engineering, facilities management, operations management, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience with facility management systems, basic budgeting, and health, safety, and environmental standards is beneficial.
- Proficiency in English.
- Arabic language skills and previous experience in governmental or regional development entities are advantages.
