Role Overview
The Facility Manager oversees facility management, maintenance, security, cleaning, parking, building services, and operational support for commercial and residential facilities.
The role ensures buildings are safe, compliant with local regulations, fully operational, and able to provide efficient and secure environments.
Planning and Budgets
- Develop building engineering operations and facilities management plans for each property and establish service-level agreements with providers.
- Prepare property budgets, assess capital expenditure using lifecycle analysis, and present business cases with financial calculations.
- Develop plans for improvements, refurbishment, renovations, and capital asset replacement.
Operations and Performance
- Evaluate contractors and vendors through KPI sessions and verify schedules, quantities, quality, completed-work reporting, and agreed specifications.
