Lead operations that support client success for a small to medium-sized client or region.
Manage a team and align daily staff functions with organizational goals to support client satisfaction and growth.
People Management
- Provide formal supervision to employees and monitor staff training and development.
- Conduct performance evaluations, coaching and mentoring.
- Oversee recruiting and hiring of new employees.
- Coordinate daily activities, establish schedules, assign tasks and cross-train staff.
- Set and track staff and department deadlines.
Operations and Finance
- Prepare ad hoc reports on revenue, expenses and other business metrics.
- Evaluate trends and manage monthly forecasting for assigned clients or regions.
- Maintain data integrity across systems used by the team.
- Identify and implement organizational best practices with regional teams and departments.
- Troubleshoot and resolve day-to-day and moderately complex operational issues.
Compliance and Communication
- Ensure compliance with company policy, professional licensing, real estate law and applicable state and federal guidelines.
- Assist with training programs, business processes and system training programs.
- Communicate policies, procedures and initiatives to create consistency across the region.
- Influence parties with shared interests to reach agreement and model CBRE values.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred with 3-5 years of relevant experience; an equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
- Experience in staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, performance measurement, appraisal, rewards and retention is preferred.
- Ability to communicate sensitive and difficult information, convey performance expectations and handle problems.
- Leadership skills to motivate impact on quality, efficiency and effectiveness.
- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Extensive organizational skills with a strong inquisitive mindset.
