Role Overview
The Facilities Manager – Maintenance oversees maintenance and facilities operations for the company’s properties in the UAE.
The role is responsible for property condition, operational efficiency, maintenance performance, and long-term property value.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily facilities, maintenance, technical operations, utilities, and essential services.
- Develop and monitor preventive and corrective maintenance programs for MEP, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and building systems.
- Lead maintenance staff, technicians, contractors, service providers, and vendors.
- Inspect properties, assess conditions, address defects, and oversee corrective actions from audits.
- Manage AMCs, service contracts, budgets, quotations, expenditures, and cost-control measures.
- Prepare monthly reports covering completed work, pending issues, costs, and property conditions.
- Maintain asset histories, inspection reports, service records, and related documentation.
- Identify energy efficiency, operational efficiency, and maintenance cost improvements.
- Coordinate with Leasing, Property Management, Operations, and other departments.
- Take on additional facilities and property-related responsibilities as the portfolio develops.
