Role Overview
The Facilities Manager ensures data center facilities operate at peak performance, uptime, and safety standards.
The role oversees critical electrical, mechanical, cooling, and operational infrastructure.
The role manages and develops the Operations Engineering team and supports customer service and team growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee maintenance and repair of electrical, mechanical, cooling, fire suppression, and security systems.
- Manage preventive maintenance programs and monitor performance through BMS and CMMS systems.
- Supervise and develop Operations Engineers through coaching, reviews, goals, training, and mentorship.
- Coordinate vendors and contractors and lead responses to outages and emergencies.
- Maintain technical, maintenance, SOP, and compliance documentation.
- Collaborate on capacity planning, upgrades, construction, retrofits, and commissioning.
