Role Overview
The Facilities Manager is responsible for the safe, reliable, and cost-effective operation of facility infrastructure, building systems, and utilities supporting a manufacturing operation.
The role partners with Maintenance, Operations, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, EHS, and external contractors to maintain uninterrupted facility operations.
Facility Operations and Projects
- Manage electrical distribution, HVAC, compressed air, chilled water, plumbing, fire protection, roofing, and building structures.
- Develop preventive and predictive maintenance programs, oversee work orders and performance metrics, and resolve corrective maintenance issues.
- Lead facility capital and expense projects from concept through completion, including scopes, budgets, schedules, bids, contractors, and status updates.
- Support manufacturing expansion, equipment installation, facility modifications, and infrastructure upgrades.
