About the Role

Responsibilities
- Oversee day to day maintenance operations for MEP, HVAC, medical gas, elevators, fire and life safety systems, utilities, and building fabric
- Develop and implement preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs
- Manage CMMS for work order control, asset tracking, and performance reporting
- Ensure compliance with UAE regulatory requirements and JCI accreditation standards
- Plan and supervise maintenance projects, renovations, and infrastructure upgrades
- Prepare and manage annual maintenance and utilities budget
- Lead, supervise, and develop maintenance and engineering staff
- Establish and monitor KPIs for maintenance performance
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 10 years progressive experience in facilities or maintenance management
- At least 5 years experience in a hospital or healthcare environment
- Minimum 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role
- Knowledge of UAE healthcare regulations and JCI standards
- NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent health and safety certification preferred
- Certified Facility Manager (CFM) or equivalent preferred

Position Description
- Oversees and manages all hospital building, plant, and infrastructure maintenance activities to ensure a safe, compliant, and reliable environment.
Position Responsibility
- Strategic and Operational Leadership: Lead overall maintenance function, develop strategies and annual plans.
- Maintenance Operations and Asset Management: Oversee day to day operations, establish preventive maintenance programs.
- Compliance, Safety, and Accreditation: Ensure compliance with UAE regulations and JCI standards.
- Projects, Renovations, and Upgrades: Plan and supervise maintenance projects and infrastructure upgrades.
- Financial and Contract Management: Prepare and manage annual maintenance budget, oversee service contracts.
- Team Leadership and Development: Lead and develop maintenance staff, ensure appropriate staffing.
- Quality, Performance, and Reporting: Establish KPIs, prepare regular reports.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Coordinate with clinical and non clinical departments.
Position Qualification
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent health and safety certification preferred.
- Certified Facility Manager (CFM) or equivalent certification preferred.
Professional Experience
- Minimum 10 years progressive experience in facilities or maintenance management.
- At least 5 years in a hospital or healthcare environment.
- Minimum 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Knowledge of hospital building systems including MEP, HVAC, medical gas, fire and life safety.
- Knowledge of UAE healthcare regulations and JCI standards.
- Skills in leading multidisciplinary teams and managing outsourced providers.
