About the Role
American Hospital Dubai seeks a Consultant Breast Radiologist to join its Breast Care Program. The role involves performing and interpreting breast imaging, image-guided procedures, and participating in multidisciplinary tumor boards.

Responsibilities
- Perform and interpret a full range of breast imaging examinations including digital mammography, breast ultrasound, breast MRI, digital breast tomosynthesis, and contrast enhanced mammography
- Perform image guided breast procedures such as ultrasound guided biopsies, stereotactic biopsies, MRI guided biopsies, wire localization, and marker clip placement
- Participate actively in multidisciplinary breast tumor board meetings
- Collaborate with breast surgeons, medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, pathologists, and primary care physicians
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting while maintaining high diagnostic standards
- Participate in breast cancer screening programs and quality improvement initiatives
- Mentor junior physicians, fellows, and radiology staff where applicable
- Maintain compliance with DHA regulations, JCI standards, and hospital policies
- Participate in continuing medical education, clinical research, and academic activities
Requirements
- Medical Degree (MBBS/MD or equivalent)
- Completion of an accredited Radiology Residency Program
- Fellowship training in Breast Imaging/Breast Radiology
- Eligibility for DHA Consultant Licensure
- Minimum 5 years of post certification consultant experience preferred
- Tier 1 qualification preferred (American Board, Canadian, UK CCT, Australian, or equivalent)
