Awtad is looking for a Facilities and General Services Specialist to join our dynamic team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating general facilities services and support operations to ensure efficient and safe working environments across our properties.
This role involves managing maintenance requests, supervising service providers, and ensuring compliance with company standards and regulations.
The Facilities and General Services Specialist will be a key contributor to maintaining operational excellence and driving continuous improvements in facility management.

Responsibilities* + Coordinate and supervise general facilities services, including cleaning, security, and logistics support, to ensure smooth daily operations.
+ Manage service provider contracts and monitor performance to ensure compliance with agreed service levels.
+ Respond promptly to facility-related issues and ensure timely resolution.
+ Maintain accurate records of service requests and vendor information.
+ Collaborate with internal departments to understand and meet their facilities and general services needs.
+ Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
+ Participate in planning and executing facility improvement projects and initiatives.
Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and hazards, and recommend corrective actions.

Requirements
- + At least 1 year of experience in facilities management or general services coordination.
- + Experience in managing vendors and service providers.
- + Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask.
- + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- + Proficiency in computer applications related to facilities management.
- + Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- + Preferably fluent in both Arabic and English.
