Overview
As an
F&B Order Taker
- , you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
- Handle guest food and beverage orders through telephone and in-room dining systems in a professional and courteous manner
- Accurately enter all orders into the computerized Point of Sale (POS) system and ensure timely dispatch to the kitchen
- Coordinate with kitchen and service staff to ensure orders are prepared and delivered according to hotel standards
- Maintain clear communication with guests regarding menu items, preparation times, special requests, and promotions
- Follow up with guests to ensure satisfaction with food quality and service
- Respond promptly to guest inquiries, complaints, and special dietary requests
- Maintain complete knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and beverage selections
- Ensure all billing, posting, and cash handling procedures are completed accurately
- Coordinate and control order flow during peak operation hours
- Present a positive, professional, and courteous image to ensure guest satisfaction
- Maintain the brand s high quality service standards
- Ability to remain calm and organized during busy service periods
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the order-taking area and equipment
- Handle guest requests efficiently and communicate effectively with all related departments
