Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Education, or an initial degree plus a recognised teaching qualification (PGCE/PGDE/state teaching license or equivalent) with a specialism in Primary
- Minimum of three years’ experience teaching Primary EYFS
- Strong understanding of the IB philosophy and Approaches to Teaching and Learning
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organisational skills
- Availability to join from August 2026

Job Description
- At GEMS World Academy, Abu Dhabi, we pride ourselves on creating an inclusive, dynamic learning community where every student feels valued, challenged, and supported.
- Situated on Al Reem Island, our school offers the International Baccalaureate (IB) framework alongside elements of the British curriculum.
- We are inviting applications of interest from experienced and dedicated Early Years Foundation Stage Teachers to join our exceptional team from August 2026.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high quality, inclusive teaching that supports students with diverse learning needs within the IB and British curriculum frameworks.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Education, or an initial degree plus a recognised teaching qualification (PGCE/PGDE/state teaching license or equivalent) with a specialism in Primary.
- Advanced qualifications in Primary are desirable but not essential.
- Minimum of three years’ experience teaching Primary EYFS, ideally within an IB or British curriculum context (preferred but not required).
- Strong understanding of the IB philosophy and Approaches to Teaching and Learning.
- Proven ability to inspire, support, and challenge students to achieve their potential.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organisational skills.
- Availability to join from August 2026.
