Job purpose
Emirates Courier Express provides end-to-end express shipping using Emirates’ global network and logistics expertise.
The role researches market trends and customer needs, develops products and solutions, supports sales, and monitors commercial and operational performance.
Business development and projects
- Research global supply chain trends, trade flows, customer requirements, and competitor product offerings.
- Analyse product gaps and recommend opportunities for business and product development.
- Develop new or improved product concepts, specifications, quality parameters, and service-provider criteria.
- Evaluate market opportunities and prepare business cases using infrastructure costs, predicted yields, and revenue estimates.
Product development
- Gather operational requirements, document process flow charts, and recommend suitable processes.
- Guide product delivery in line with the published product portfolio.
- Manage supplier partner contracts and relationships through negotiation and execution.
- Include legal, insurance, and profit-and-loss information in supplier contracts.
- Prepare technical input for training, operational collateral, and product-specific campaigns.
