Role overview
SurveyMonkey is seeking an Expansion Account Executive for its sales team, reporting to the Sales Manager.
The role focuses on helping existing customers expand their use of SurveyMonkey's AI-powered insights platform and enterprise integrations.
What you will work on
- Identify, prospect, and close expansion opportunities within an existing book of business to exceed revenue targets.
- Partner with Customer Success to map organizational hierarchies and engage new departmental buyers.
- Deliver consultative presentations connecting AI and automation capabilities to customer needs and measurable outcomes.
- Manage complex deal cycles using MEDDPICC or comparable qualification frameworks.
- Use Salesforce, Gong, and Outreach to analyze deals, optimize outreach, and maintain pipeline health.
- Improve sales processes by incorporating feedback and industry trends.
Required experience
- At least 2 years of full-cycle B2B sales experience with a record of meeting or exceeding quotas.
- Experience in account expansion or territory management within large organizations.
- Proficiency in a sales qualification framework such as MEDDPICC, Sandler, or Challenger.
- Technical expertise with Salesforce and Gong.
- A proactive approach to using AI productivity tools for administrative automation and strategic account planning.
