Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the collections process, ensuring timely and efficient recovery of outstanding payments.
- Develop and implement strategies to minimize bad debt and maximize recovery rates.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, providing excellent customer service and support.
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints, ensuring prompt and satisfactory resolutions.
- Collaborate with the finance team to analyze and interpret financial data related to collections.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for the collections department.
- Implement process improvements and best practices to enhance efficiency and productivity.
- Stay updated with industry trends and regulations, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and standards.
- Provide training and support to junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Work closely with other departments to ensure seamless integration and effective communication.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a collections or customer support role.
- Strong knowledge of collections processes and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant collections software.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and industry trends.
