Recruitment
- Identify current and future hiring needs for Emirati roles in alignment with Emiratization goals and national workforce development initiatives.
- Support with identifying Emirati talents/candidates through strategic sourcing, networking, and talent mapping to meet current and future organizational needs.
- Develop targeted recruitment strategies to attract qualified Emirati candidates through job fairs, partnerships with universities, and collaboration with government platforms like Nafis.
- Manage the end-to-end hiring process, including reviewing applications, aligning interviews and supporting with employee onboarding.
- Design onboarding programs that support Emirati hires in adapting to the workplace culture, while promoting retention and long-term career development.
Public Relations Coordination
- Facilitate onboarding and offboarding processes for Emirati hires, ensuring all documentation complies with UAE labour laws and Emiratization initiatives. Liaise with Public Relations Officers (PROs) to manage work permit, labour card, pension & Nafis processing.
- Act as a point of contact for government-related HR matters, ensuring timely submission of documents to relevant authorities. Stay updated on regulatory changes affecting Emirati employment.
- Manage strategic partnerships and communication with UAE government entities to advocate for Emirati workforce development, ensuring compliance with local labour regulations and contributing to national talent integration goals.
- Assist in implementing Emiratization strategies, track Emirati employee data, and prepare reports for internal stakeholders and government audits.
Employee Engagement & Retention
- Develop initiatives that resonate with Emirati values and traditions to foster a sense of belonging.
- Implement tools to gather insights from Emirati employees about their workplace experience and use the data to tailor engagement strategies that address their specific needs and aspirations.
- Create clear growth pathways and recognition programs that highlight Emirati contributions, encouraging long-term commitment and motivation.
- Manage Emirati employees' grievances, Coordinate with retail teams to attend and manage their shift schedules to ensure timely resolution of workplace issues and smooth operational coordination.
- Training and Induction:
- Lead the employee induction process to ensure new hires are effectively introduced to the company’s vision, mission, values, culture, and key policies, fostering a sense of belonging from day one.
- Oversee the full onboarding lifecycle tailored to Emirati hires, coordinating cross-functional efforts to ensure timely completion of documentation, system access provisioning, and role-specific integration plans that support new hire productivity and engagement.
- Identify skill gaps and coordinate with department heads to implement training programs that support Emirati career progression and Emiratization targets.
- Track participation, evaluate training outcomes, and maintain accurate documentation for audits and internal reporting.
