Context and interactions
The position sits within the Business Development department and works with internal functional departments, direct and distributor teams, and external suppliers.
The role involves creating solutions, optimizing processes, implementing instructions, communicating precisely, influencing stakeholders, and negotiating.
Customer visits and field services
- Visit customer sites to understand needs and propose tailored technical solutions.
- Inspect equipment in cement, steel, mining, and other industrial segments and recommend Lubrilog solutions.
- Conduct field trials for premium and newly introduced products using a total-cost-of-ownership approach.
- Perform lube audits, borescope inspections, and other value-added services at customer premises.
- Develop reliability solutions that address customer needs and current industry technologies.
Technical queries and training
- Recommend lubricants and greases for specific applications.
- Respond to customer queries and support affiliates, distributors, and sales staff with technical requests.
- Develop and execute annual training plans for customers, distributors, and internal staff.
- Track training progress, feedback, and departmental training KPIs.
