- Manage day to day operation and maintenance of all building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire alarm, elevators, BMS, and emergency power
- Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs
- Ensure compliance with local authority regulations, HSE standards, and statutory requirements
- Supervise contractors, service providers, and maintenance teams
- Plan and execute facility improvement projects, renovations, and upgrades
- Maintain accurate records of facility assets and maintenance history
- Prepare maintenance reports, technical evaluations, and performance analyses
Requirements
- Experience in facility engineering and building systems maintenance
- Knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire alarm, and BMS systems
- Experience with preventive and predictive maintenance programs
- Ability to manage vendors and contractors
- Strong documentation and reporting skills

Roles and responsibilities of a Facility Engineer
- Manage day to day operation and maintenance of all building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire alarm, elevators, BMS, UPS, and emergency power
- Monitor facility performance and ensure equipment reliability and availability
- Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs
- Conduct routine inspections and audits of facility assets
Compliance & Safety
- Ensure compliance with local authority regulations, HSE standards, and statutory requirements
- Coordinate inspections, certifications, and renewals for facility equipment and systems
- Conduct risk assessments and ensure implementation of corrective actions
- Support emergency preparedness and business continuity plans
Vendor & Contractor Management
- Supervise contractors, service providers, and maintenance teams
- Review service reports and ensure contractual KPIs and SLAs are achieved
- Evaluate contractor performance and recommend improvements
- Verify completion of work and approve invoices and service reports
Project Management
- Plan and execute facility improvement projects, renovations, and upgrades
- Prepare technical specifications, scope of work, and cost estimates
- Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget
- Monitor project progress and quality standards
Asset Management
- Maintain accurate records of facility assets and maintenance history
- Support asset lifecycle planning, replacement strategies, and budgeting
- Track equipment warranties and service contracts
Documentation & Reporting
- Prepare maintenance reports, technical evaluations, performance analyses, comparison of Adhoc jobs, BOQ preparedness & evolution
- Maintain engineering drawings, manuals, permits, and compliance records
- Generate monthly operational and KPI reports for management review
- Coordination meetings with vendor, external stakeholder & internal stakeholders
- Weekly, monthly MOM & data record for the technical assets
