Job Description

In this role, you will support the planning, coordination, and execution of events and activations that bring the city and assets to life, where the client retains an interest. You will be responsib

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Supporting the development of the overall activation and events strategy.
  • Assisting in the creation of project plans, activation trackers, required documentation, and license letters.
  • Ensuring all activations are communicated in a timely manner to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Conducting site visits with service providers and internal/external stakeholders to assess and prepare event locations.
  • Supporting the management of all event operations, including setup, execution, and site clearance.
  • Attending activation debriefs, collecting data, and supporting the Lead in the preparation of activation reports.
  • Preparing correspondence, reports, and statistical data related to events and community activations.
  • Liaising with Marketing and PR teams regarding relevant activations and promotional requirements.
  • Liaising with government entities and authorities regarding relevant activations, licenses, and approvals.
  • Coordinating with Finance to ensure service providers are paid on time and in line with agreed terms.
  • Performing other duties and responsibilities as needed, and determining and managing priorities with minimal guidance.

What Required Skills You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Hospitality Management, Public Relations, or a related field.
  • Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in events, community activation, arts management, planning, public administration, or a related field.
  • Good knowledge of the Qatar events market dynamics and regulatory environment.
  • Working knowledge of project management, vendor relations, and sponsorship management.
  • Working knowledge of city management and/or real estate operations.
  • Sound knowledge of MS Office and solid presentation skills.

  • Experience in Qatar or the wider GCC.
  • Proficiency in both Arabic and English.
  • Ability to collaborate and work effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to work.
  • Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
